Hello! I’m Rachel and welcome to R & R Travel Tales!

Over the past 5 years I have been solo travelling and volunteering in some amazing places gaining some life changing experiences, meeting some inspirational people and learning more about so many cultures. With my deep seated passion for travel it has been great meeting Ryan with the same love for adventure, food and culture as well as having experiences of solo travelling.

I love finding bargains, and this definitely carries over into all of my travels. Since I rely on travel apps to navigate (I’m terrible with directions!), I hope to offer support to fellow travellers, especially those new to the journey. I started this blog to share our experiences from both a solo female and male perspective. You’ll find our itineraries, budget tips, accommodation reviews and stories from our travel as a couple.
